I love the whole process of renewal that comes with Spring. After the quiet, dark winter days, it is as if my soul begins to stir with newness of life. When the weather begins to tease of warmth, the trees begin to bud and bloom, and the flowers begin to poke through the soil, I get antsy. I can’t wait to put my hands in the earth and smell the dirt once again. . . . I’m such a romantic nerd when it comes to nature.
I wish I could say that I am one of those dainty gardeners who looks good while they are gardening, but oh no, I am not one ounce of beautiful when I’ve put in a hard day’s worth of gardening. Of course, I don’t wear nice clothes, so at times, I’m sure I look rather. . . . ummm . . . . . frumpy, we’ll say. Yes, frumpy. I inevitably end up with dirt on my face and weeds in my hair. I don’t garden with gloves, because I like to feel what I am doing. Therefore, I tend to have dirt under my nails, debris up to my elbows, and the occasional scratch or small cut from all my playing digging around in my flower beds or veggie garden. Which is precisely the reason I created our Gardener’s Soap. I needed it!
Every bit of Gardener’s Soap works to nourish the gardener’s skin. It is part of our Working Hands line, and work it does. If you’re a gardener, know a gardener, or know someone who likes to play in the mud, this is the bar for them!
