Those that really know me will “lovingly” tell you I am nerdy. If you need a random fact about something, I’m your person. Before I do anything or make any decision, I have to know all the facts. Sometimes this can be rather annoying, because the process is quite time consuming. On the plus side, my nerdy qualities have really helped me with EB’s Naturals.
You see, I never wanted EB’s Naturals products to be just another bath and body product. Of course, I want the products to look pretty and smell good, but more importantly, I want each and every EB’s Naturals bath and body product to be good for your skin and overall health. Which is precisely why I bathe (no pun intended, heh, heh) every bath and body product we make in research. Every single ingredient has a purpose. The simple beauty of the natural soap bars. The scents that purposefully uplift, rejuvenate, relax, and even benefit the skin. Every single ingredient has a function that, in the end, creates a natural bath and body product that wholly nourishes your skin and more.
Right now, I’m spending a lot of time researching–soaking in my nerdiness. While the other half of EB’s Naturals is out scouting in the mountains, I’m sitting in the hotel room researching in the midst of the beautiful Appalachian mountains–talk about inspiration for natural!!!
With that view at the top of this post, these books, and the worldwide web at my fingertips, I’m researching and designing future products for EB’s Naturals. At this very moment, I’m working on new soaps, lip balms, sugar and salt scrubs, lotion sticks, and the possibility of herbal salves/balms. This is fun research! I can’t wait to share the natural handmade treats with you. I’m hoping, after the research and testing (on friends and family, of course), to have these out over the course of the next year.
Well, I suppose I better get my nerdy back on. I’ve got research to do, views to admire, and a deadline to meet!
